Teaches portions of LEAN, putting it into the perspective of growth and transformation rather than just cost savings. Works closely with bosses of client companies making them better strategic leaders.
Career Experience
Thirty-four years in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard, culminating in position of Vice Wing Commander. Flew, taught others to fly, and organized, trained, and ensured the equipage of units and personnel in several weapons systems, from fighters to support to airborne refueling. Lead training program as Nebraska Air National Guard transformed from fighter unit to refueling unit in 1993. Throughout military career and after remained engaged in his family’s farming operation in western Nebraska. Managed a 40 person diversified factory during its reconstitution after moving from the east coast. Consulted for individual factory operations as well as taught transformational doctrine to members of the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Biography
Born and raised on diversified family farm in Chappell, Nebraska.
Graduated from USAF Academy
with degree in American History, 1971.
Earned Masters Degree from Indiana University, American Diplomatic History, 1972.
Undergraduate Pilot Training, Williams Air Force Base, AZ, 1973.
Flew F-4 Phantoms and OV-10A aircraft on Active Duty through 1978.
Farmed and flew RF-4’s for NEANG until
1987.

RF-4C, 1987-1993.
Fulltime instructor and commander, NEANG,
KC-135R, 1993-2001.
