A competent person as defined by OSHA and the NFPA is a person who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions that are unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous to employees, and who has the authorization to take prompt corrective measure to eliminate them. The programs offered by MW will ensure that the supervisors and employees are fully trained to be able to identify the risks, and take the steps necessary to make the workplace safe.
